This is a very good site to get paid to write articles with. It is free to join like everything else you will find on this site. I have sold short, one page articles (barely 500 words) for as much as $50 on this site.

You can sell them your article exclusively or non-exclusively. Exclusively means you cannot sell your article anywhere else but them. Non-exclusive gives you the freedom to sell it to as many sites as you want. Obviously you will make more if you sell it exclusively.

Now if you are familiar with Craigslist this site has something similar just for articles.

If you go to the “requested content” section you will see a bunch of ads by people and businesses wanting articles on certain topics.

They have also mentioned how much they are willing to pay.

I love this part. You can pick and chose what to do since you already know the pay.

Now as a seller, you can also post your articles and an asking price for each.

Make sure to make your first paragraph teasing and interesting.



Readers cannot see more than that, or they will just copy and steal your content.

You want to make them want more so that they pay and gain full access to your article.

The system is designed very nicely and you are sure to make extra money from this part time activity (many do it full time as well).

Associated Content

Associated Content (AC) is an article hub with all kinds of topics you can think of. Readers go on this site to read about whatever they are interested in and learn something new. It is one of the highest ranking and most popular sites in its industry, and website owners, bloggers and even big businesses often frequent the site to purchase content for their own sites.

This is one of my favorite sites to make money with by writing articles because they pay very well. You can write exclusive articles and sell them for up to $15 (sometimes more) or non exclusively for $5 or more. Exclusive means that you are giving up your rights to the article to AC. Non exclusive allows you to republish your article elsewhere (there are many advantages to this as well).

I have made my fair share of money with AC and still collect monthly checks from the referral program. My earnings shot up significantly after they had launched the PB or “Performance Bonus” program. With this program every article I had that generated 1,000 page views paid me an extra $1.50.

So if you are good at writing and your articles to do well, you can collect indefinitely. May not sounds like an earth shattering amount but trust me, with AC being one of the top article hub sites, 1,000 views is easy to generate.

If writing is your thing I definitely recommend Associate Content. Even if you write just one article a day you can easily make around $150 a month just from doing this. Many times you might be able to take articles you have already written or published elsewhere and post it on AC with a revised title and get paid for it. Many students have taken good advantage of this site by submitting all their research papers, essays and articles. What an ingenious way to cash in!

I love the flexibility AC offers you. You work when you want and there is no limit on how many articles you can submit. So if you can’t sleep at night, just grab a cup of caffeine and stay up to write articles for cash. You will at least make some money in the process. Better than tossing and turning in bed isn’t it?

• High Page Rank – If you are a website or blog owner you can put a link to your page and benefit from AC’s high PR.
• Very popular site to develop a following if you are a Blogger. Great for website owners as well to make a name in your niche.
• Occasional Special offers – Keep an eye out for “calls for content”. When AC needs specific content, they will tell you and pay you well for it!
• Each article has a shelf life of 10 years on average. Think about how much recurring money you can make from just one good article? Say your article gets 20 views per day. That means in 10 years you can make $109.50 (based on $1.50 for 1,000 views) from just one article. If you publish 1,000 articles, you will make $10,900 for a one time effort only! This is all extra cash in addition to what you already get paid per article.
• AC provides real time tracking stats so you can log in and quickly see the review status of your article as well as whether it has passed and how much money you made at any time.

HubPages

This is also one of my favorite article sites to make money from. I use it mostly to promote my other websites because I benefit from its high Page Rank. However, since I was writing articles anyway, I decided to might as well profit from them.



Then they introduced their affiliate program which I signed up with to make even more money.

Everyone I refered to HubPages loved the easy to use platform and the exposure their articles were getting.

The best part about the program is that it pays you forever for refering just one writer.

As long as the writer publishes content and the content makes money for the writer, you will get a commission from HubPages.

The commissions is quite significant relative to other programs out there. HubPages will pay you an additional 10% of an article's impressions. This is an article your referral publishes. For articles you publish, you make more money and it is all yours. And don't think that you referral is getting short changed here. That is not the case at all. Your referral makes their money and you make your money. Your earnings DO NOT cut into theirs.

I have done well with HubPages because 1) my articles have been well received and 2) my referrals have turned out to be quality writers who constantly publish great content that attract a lot of page views.
